M.Sc. Birger Eriksen

Birger Eriksen has since 1988 been working at Sejet Plant Breeding first as Head of Barley Breeding and since 2012 as Managing Director. As responsible for the winter and spring barley program, Birger has been involved in all aspects of breeding from selection over IP-registration to marketing and the number of varieties registered at the EU List in the period 1988-2011 counts more than one hundred. Through the years member/chairman of numerous research project steering committees, and since 2014 chairman of the Danish Breeders Association as well as member of committees in Euroseeds.
